I called Tony Johnson back. He was waiting for approval. I told him he had a discharge permit so he didn't really need it
but since it was an emergency situation that he should probably notify emergency management in Watauga County in
case of discoloration. He's going to run it through sand bags as slowly as he can to try and clear it up as much as
possible but we may still get some calls.

That was the right advice, Sue. Thanks for passing it along. Do you know what permit COC number they're under?

Hey!
Got a call from Tony Johnson of Vulcan Quarry Boone. They usually don't discharge because they reuse but everything is
full and they have to. It's reaching an emergence situation. I told him that he has a discharge permit so he is able to
discharge but to make sure he did it according to the discharge portion of his permit. I said I'd let you all know. Here is
his phone number: 571-422-6401.
