Since our last correspondence, there have been a couple of modifications to the Edgecombe: Kingsboro Industrial Park project. After discussions with the Corps and DEQ Buffers, we have made some slight adjustments that have reduced our impacts to the Zone 1 and Zone 2 buffers associated with this project. Our updated buffer impact requiring mitigation is now 1,400 SF, down from the previous 5,970 SF under the original submission. In addition, the Corps has also indicated that wetland mitigation is required for permanent disturbance/ conversion of 0.27 AC of wetlands. I have reached out to Rich Mogensen with Mogensen Mitigation, Inc. and he has replied that they currently do not have any available credits for wetlands (see attached email). Therefore, can you provide some direction as to the next step in the process? Can we amend the previously submitted letter to include the wetland impacts? Do we need to file a new/updated application? Thank you in advance for your assistance. Regards, William A.
