Purpose for Gravity Sewer Replacement:
The purpose of the proposed project is to eliminate a confined space entry into a dry well by
replacing the existing pumps with Gorman -Rupp suction lift pumps. The existing pump station
serves businesses in the downtown Lake Junaluska area in the Junaluska Sanitary District. The
project will not increase capacity at the existing pump station.
Should you have any questions, please advise.
