REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION
Dear Sir or Madam:
On August 15, 2006, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your application dated
August 3, 2006, to fill or otherwise impact 0.927 acres of wetland (0.434 acres permanent
impact, 0.493 acres temporary impact), 301inear feet of perennial stream impact, and 1,800
square feet of Zone 1 Neuse River basin protected riparian buffers and 1,200 square feet of Zone
2 Neuse River basin protected riparian buffers, to construct the proposed residential subdivision.
The DWQ has determined that your application was incomplete and/or provided inaccurate
information as discussed below. The DWQ will require five copies of the additional information
requested in order to process your application to impact protected wetlands and/or streams on the
subject property. This project has been placed on hold until the following criteria has been meet.
Please provide the following information so that we may continue to review your project.
Additional Information Requested:
Please show all stream impacts including all fill slopes, dissipaters, and bank stabilization
on the site plan.
2. Please show all wetland impacts including fill slopes on the site plan.
3. Please indicate all buffer impacts on the site plan.
4. Please indicate the location of the protected buffers as overlays on the site plan, clearly
showing Zone 1 and Zone 2.
5. Please indicate the diffuse flow provision measures on the site plan, applicable
worksheets, and signed and notarized Operations and Maintenance Agreement. This plan

may be redesigned to direct flow into the remaining wetland onsite at non-erosive
velocities.
Please contact the DWQ within three weeks of the date of this letter to verify that you have
received this letter and that you remain interested in continuing to pursue permitting of your
project and will be providing the DWQ the requested information at a later date. Please contact
me in writing and Eric Kulz of the DWQ Raleigh Regional Office. If we do not hear from you
within three weeks, we will assume that you no longer want to pursue this project and we will
consider the project as withdrawn.
This letter only addresses the application review and does not authorize any impacts to wetlands,
waters or protected buffers. Please be aware that any impacts requested within your application
are not authorized (at this time) by the DWQ. Please call Ms. Cyndi Karoly or Mr. Ian
