Description of Collection System or Treatment Process: Operation of a 255,000GPD wastewater
treatment facility consisting of a 25,000 gallon Chlorine contact chamber, inlet rotating bar screen,
bypass manual bar screen, 56 acre solid set spray irrigation system, (1) 16 acre center pivot, 3
facultative/ storage lagoons and pump station with (2) 800GPM vertical turbine pumps. The collection
system consisting of 7 pumping stations. The facility is located at 188 Water Treatment Rd.
II. Performance

Exceeded flow limit for the month of October and April
List(by month) any violations of permit conditions or other environmental or other regulations.
Monthly listed should include discussion of any environmental impacts and corrective measures taken to
address violations.
October- Exceeded daily flow limit due to 13.5inches of heavy rain from hurricane Matthew on the 8th
and 9th of October.
April- Exceeded daily flow limit due to 6inches of heavy rain on the 24th and 25th of April

Notification is posted at Faison Town Hall, Faison Recreation and wellness Center, and Faison Library.
