This letter is to follow up on the application sent to you on March 25, 2009 with certified
mail numbers: 70081140 0000 21181333. The application fee was not sent along at that
time so we are enclosing it now. Also my assistant had spoke with you last week or so and
we are still waiting on any respond from the Army Corps of Engineers, as soon as it comes we
will gladly forward to you any information we receive. Thanks for you help in this matter.

Re: Proposal - Ten Slip Private Marina Located at lot 8 in Luckystone Subdivision off Chimney
Pond Lane on lake Glenville, in Jackson County, North Carolina
Please find enclosed the letter of intent dated February 2009, which shows the proposed
construction of 10 (ten) slip private marina. An application is being made to Duke Energy
Services for the required (F.E.R.C. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) permit to construct
this private marina. Stabilization for this proposed site is already in place, we will be
constructing the primate marina only. Plats and dock drawing are enclosed for you review.
We ask that you advise us, by return mail with in 45 to 60 days, of any comments you may have
concerning this development or of any permits your authority may require. You comments are a
requirement on the F.E.R. C. permit application. Thank you for you cooperation and prompt
response.
