Mr. Fryar (Wes),
In the rules, fences are exempt, "provided that the disturbance is minimized, and installation does not result in the
removal of forest vegetation". That doesn't discriminate between zones, meaning fences would also be allowed in Zone
1, but to the point of your question, in Zone 2, it should be pretty easy to minimize the disturbance, since you aren't
required to have "forest vegetation" that you'd normally have in Zone 1.
Hope that helps, if you need any additional clarification. The rest of what you noted is good/true/useful in remembering
in relation to fence installation.

Hi Chris,
We have been asked if a fence can be erected within Zone 2. 1 know no impervious surfaces are allowed, and
diffuse flow must be preserved, just wasn't sure about a fence. Let me know what you think when you get a
chance. Thanks!
