Hi Ian
As we discussed a moment ago, total wetland impacts for the P-031 B project are 0.698 acres of wetlands (all temporary),
which are needed to install the proposed utility line. In addition, 3.42 acres of wetlands will be converted from forested to
herbaceous in the mowed utility corridor, but these wetlands will not technically be impacted. No grading activities will
occur within the larger corridor, just mowing. The Corps requires that we provide mitigation for these vegetative
conversions, so we noted it in the application. Since the actual wetland impacts are less than one acre, we believe the
application fee should be $240.
I hope this email clears up the confusion and the application can be taken off hold. Let me know if you need anything else.
