The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting a NW 3 permit for pipe replacement on Old Doctors Rd in Dare County. The pipe is located approximately 0.14 miles from the intersection of NC 12. The pipe will be removed using NCDOT best management practices for pipe replacement. The current pipes, 3 @ 40' x 24" CMP will be replaced with 3@ 40'x 42" CAA. The pipes are located in Peters Ditch, a tributary to the Pamlico Sound.
