The existing culvert spans the property line between the subject property and the adjacent property to the north. It will be removed and the impacted buffer restored. The new culvert will be centered under the new subdivision road entrance and is proposed as close as possible to the existing culvert to minimize additional permanent impact while meeting NCDOT design standards. 1 b. After replacing the existing culvert with the new culvert, the portion of existing impacted stream located on the adjacent property will be restored.
