At the end of the bridge, traffic bearing 2G1 drainage inlets were placed on either side of the roadway to pick up runoff from the bridge. Wetlands are located within all four quadrants of the project site and riprap outlets are being used to mitigate the impacts to the wetland areas. In order to maintain the wetlands, a rip rap embankment protection was used. Class-II rip rap abutment protection on both banks of the stream is also proposed to prevent future erosion and stream mitigation.
