This letter serves as a response to the April 2, 2009 letter from the North Carolina Division of Water Quality (DWQ). I have been coordinating with Ms. Amy Chapman of your office to determine the specific requirements for this project and we are in the process of determining how to move forward at this time. As described in the Buffer Clarification Memo #2007-012 a conceptual planting plan will be submitted describing the planting that would occur if it is determined by DWQ that a stream channel has formed at least since months after the dam is breached. The conceptual plan will be submitted by May 15, 2009. Please contact me at 843-329-0050 or esmailklpagroup.com if you have any questions or require additional information.
