Subject: Bethania Road Main Street-stream instability
Paul and I stopped by the stream relocation project in Bethania after our Rowan County bridge replacement meeting last
week. In the attached picture, a head cut has developed (looks to be in the ROW) and riprap was washed into the stream
channel. There may be a need for some sort of grade control structure to prevent head cut migration upstream, or larger riprap,
and riprap needs to be removed from the channel.
