Project Description: The Raleigh Regulatory Field Office, Corps of Engineers (Corps) has received an application from North
Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), seeking Department of the Army authorization to discharge dredged or fill
material into waters of the United States, associated with widening of US 158 (Reidsville Road) to a multi-lane facility, from the
existing multi-lane section north of I-40 Business/US 421 in Forsyth County to US 220 in Guilford County. A new location bypass
around Stokesdale, Guilford County, is also proposed as part of this project. (STIP Project Number R-2577)
