The ORC and staff incorporate a comprehensive process control program with all
measurements being properly documented and maintained on-site. In-depth operation and
maintenance records were also being maintained on-site. The facility is equipped with a
SCADA System that is accessible at fourteen separate locations throughout the wastewater
facility. The on-site operators are also notified of alarm conditions via paging system.
Odor control systems are connected to selected treatment processes/units including_
influent pump station, primary clarifiers, sludge thickening/dewatering, and Residual
Management Facility.

Comment: The facilitv is eauiDDed with four aravitv thickeners (covered) and six centrifuaes (3
thickening and 3 — dewatering). Two of the gravity thickeners was in service and one of the
dewatering centrifuges was in the process of being repaired. The centrate was free of high
level of solids and the sludge cake was free of excessive moisture.
The primary and waste activated sludges from the Sugar Creek WWTP are processed at
this facility.
Dewated bio -solids are land applied by a contracted company (Svnagro) under the authority
of Permit No. W00000057.
