SUBJECT: TIP Project No. B-4757 - Replacement of Bridge No. 175 on SR 2795
over Buffalo Creek in Guilford County
The Project Development and Environmental Analysis Branch is starting the project
development, environmental and engineering studies for the replacement of Bridge No. 175 in
Guilford County. This project is included in the North Carolina Transportation Improvement
Program and is scheduled for construction in fiscal year 2013.
We would appreciate any information you might have that would be helpful in evaluating
potential environmental impacts of the project including recommendation of alternates to be
studied. Your comments will be used in the preparation of a federally funded Categorical
Exclusion, prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act. It is desirable
that your agency respond by May 13, 2009 so that your comments can be used in the selection of
alternatives to be studied for this project.
