itnC0db- That the Grantors, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars, and other
good and valuable considerations to them in hand paid by the Grantees, ' the receipt whereof is hereby acknowl-
edged, have given, granted, bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these presents do give, grant, bargain, sell, convey
and confirm unto the Grantees, their heirs and/or successors and assigns, the following particularly described real
estate, located in Buncombe County, North Carolina, to -wit: Reems Creek Township
BEGIMING on an iron pin, an old corner and runs with the Sams line, N. 370 1.21
East 255.4 feet to a white oak stump, Cornelia Sams corner, also corner of J. Hilliard
Mardis tract; runs thence with the line of the Ward tract, N. 140 143' West 1487.14 feet to
a stake, Hilliard Ward's corner; thence with the line of Richard R. Bevis tract, N. 55a
15' West 528 feet to a stake in his line; thence S. 290 511.1 West 330.8 feet to a stake
on a ridge, Cole's corner; thence with the line of the Cole property, S. 210 50' Fast
433.1 feet to a black oak; thence S. 1460 22' East 1437.3 feet to the BEGINNING corner, cont
taining 8.59 acres, more or less, and being a part of the same pnoperty conveyed by Mar-
jorie R. Curtis, et. als., to Hilliard L. Bevis, by deed dated June 21, 1947, and duly
recorded in the office of the Register of Reeds for Buncombe County, North Carolina, in
Beed Book 6146, at page 1418.
To fable alit to Kolb the above described land and premises, with all the appurtenances thereunto
belonging, or in any wise appertaining, unto the Grantees, their heirs and/or successors and assigns forever.
And the Grantors covenant to and with the Grantees, their heirs and/or successors and assigns, that the
Grantors are lawfully seized in fee simple of said land and premises, and have full right and power to convey
the some to the Grantees in fee simple, and that said land and premises are free from any and all encumbrances
(with the exceptions above stated, if any), and that they will and their heirs, executors, administrators and/or
successors shall forever warrant and defend the title to the said land and premises, with the appurtenances, unto
the Grantees, their heirs and/or successors and assigns, against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
