Subject: Stream determination for Pikeville Spray Irrigation system Attachments: pikeville stream determination.pdf Pikeville proposes to construct a new center pivot irrigation unit (wastewater disposal) south of their existing center pivot spray irrigation on the north side of Big Daddy's Road on the east side of Pikeville (see maps). DWQ setback requirements for secondary treated effluent require the spray area be a minimum of 100 ft from any stream or ditch. There is a ditch (maybe a stream?) within 100 ft of the proposed spray area. The ditch does not appear on the latest Soils Maps, but does appear on the 2016 USGS map (see attached USGS map extract). The Town has an option to purchase the proposed site, to include property that borders Big Daddy's Road. The Town would like stream determinations where the ditch(stream?) crosses under Big Daddy's Road onto the property(see #1 on attached map) the town plans to purchase. If the determination at the road crossing is a stream, then another determination north of Big Daddy's Road is requested (see #2 on attached map) followed by a third determination (see map) if site #2 is a stream. Please advise as to how soon you may be available to conduct a site visit and also please advise as to the cost and appropriate forms to be completed.
