Mr. Brown,
Per our conversation, the installation of a rip rap lining within the same footprint of the existing forebay will be
acceptable in light of the Rule change. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.

Anthony,
This Level Spreader was built prior to the latest rule change which required a forebay before entering the actual level
spreader. I see that the new rules no longer require a forebay if the level spreader is lined with rip rap (like the forebays
would be).
If we are keeping the same footprint for the level spreader will we have to modify the permit if we do away with the
forebay and line the level spreader with rip rap per the latest rules?
Thank you for your help,
