I’m working with Bill Jordan and George Price, and they’ve asked me to reach out to you with a question regarding the additional use of temporary matting along NC12 for the Bonner Bridge ductbank installation. I’m happy to speak to you on the phone as well if you’d like. According to George Price, Steve Thompson at the NPS stated the NPS was ok with the use of mats along the west side of the existing silt fence for the installation of the duct bank. We can use up to 300’ of mats that will have to move along with the progression of work. A construction fence and silt fence will need to be installed along the west side of the mats as they go. I’ve drafted up the matting and fences so you can see what I mean – see image below and attached plan. Would you like us to send you PDFs or plans incorporating this new language and detail in order to obtain your approval? Or does this email suffice? Thanks!
