returned to DWQ by the applicant, the applicant's authorized agent, or the project engineer. It is not necessary to send
certificates from all of these.

Dear Sir or Madam:
Carolina Power & Light Company, now doing business as Progress Energy Carolinas, Inc.,
conducted maintenance dredging within the settling basin of the discharge canal for the
Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, which is located in Southport, North Carolina. As
required by the DWQ Project No. 08-0329, Progress Energy is submitting the attached
Certificate of Completion.
