NOTICE OF A PUBLIC MEETING FOR THE PROPOSED
DESIGN REVISION TO THE GREENSBORO EASTERN LOOP
FROM US 70 RELOCATION TO WEST OF SR 2490 (LAKE JEANETTE ROAD)
TIP Project No. U-2525B&C Guilford County
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) will hold an
informal Public Meeting on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 between the hours of
4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria of Northeast Guilford High School
located at 6700 McLeansville Road, McLeansville.
NCDOT representatives will be available in an informal setting during the
hours indicated above to answer questions relative to the proposed project. The
information presented at the public meeting will present the proposed design
modifications and update citizens on the status of the proposed project.
Representatives from NCDOT will be available to answer questions. A map
showing the proposed project with design revisions will be available at the
meeting. Interested citizens may attend at any time during the above mentioned
hours.
NCDOT proposes a design change at the proposed US 29 interchange
that will require additional right of way. The proposed interchange was revised
based on updated traffic volume forecasts.
