Average Daily Traffic (veh/hr/day): Design/Future: 2100 Existing: 2100 2011 General Project Narrative: The existing bridge on Highway SR1005 over Mangness Creek in Cleveland County is proposed to be replaced with a single span (1@100'-0") 39" box beam bridge. The existing approch sections of the roadway will be widened from approximately 22ft. To 30.8ft. The bridge crossing will be widened from 25.8 ft. to 33 ft. (out to out). The new bridge will have no direct discharge of stormwater into the stream. Stormwater runoff will be directed to rip rap for energy dissipation prior to entering receiving waters. References
