NCDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING FOR THE PROPOSED
WIDENING OF 14TH STREET IN GREENVILLE
PITT COUNTY
TIP PROJECT NO. U-5917
The N.C. Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting regarding the proposed
widening of 14th street (S.R. 1704) to a two-lane, median divided roadway with protected left
turns and bike lanes in Greenville, Pitt County. The project extends from Red Banks Road to Fire
Tower Road (S.R. 1708).
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, Apri13 at the Alice Keene District Park Facility located
at 4561 Country Home Road in Greenville from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Interested citizens may attend at any time during the meeting hours. NCDOT representatives
will be available to answer questions and receive comments regarding the project. Please note
that no formal presentation will be made. All comments received will be taken into
consideration as the project progresses. Written comments or questions can also be submitted at
the meeting or later by May 3, 2018.
