Dear Mr. Turner,
In light of Gov.Perdue's recent proclamation about citizens receiving information under the FOIA,I am
requesting that any correspondence and/or information that your department has had with the Navy
regarding an OLF being placed in Gates County be sent to me.I'm sure you are aware of the large
number of wetlands in the core site that are an important part of the Chowan River Basin.l am also
requesting that if any recommendations have been made to the Navy by the Dept.of Water Quality
regarding the Sandbanks Site,that this information be sent to me also.
