Our responsibility is limited to surface water quality issues with respect to stream and wetland water quality standards. Property tax disputes related to right-of-way purchases for transportation projects are beyond our scope of responsibility. Please contact DOT's office at 336-747-7950. We lost our home and about six Acers of land our lake, the land the lake was on was taken by wetlands mitigation, it was not in the right of way of the beltway. One of the remnant 0.08 Acreage, total value $500. I do not plane to pay taxes on land, I have to trespass to get to. This land should have been taken with the wetlands mitigation.
