Dear Mr. Setzer:
On March 11, 2009, 1 inspected the construction work on NCSR 1513 (Cat Creek Road) at the bridge
replacement project. The project appeared to be in good shape; however, construction work wasjust getting
started. Some clearing and grubbing had taken place and sediment and erosion control devices were being
installed.
Please continue to ensure that all sediment and erosion control structures are maintained and that seeding and
mulching are performed as needed to protect downstream waters. A copy of the inspection report is attached
to this letter.
If you have questions, please call me at 828-296-4500.
Sincerely,
Michael R. Parker

Looked at entire project. Only a small part of the project is under construction. Clearing and grubbing taking
place. Sediment and erosion control devices being installed.
Continue to maintain erosion control devices and continue with seeding and matting as required.
The project looked good overall.
