At the request of Lowe's Home Center's Inc. (Lol e' s), Hart &. Hickman, PC is providing this
project update for the above r-?'ferenced site. The US Army Corps of Engineers issued a
Nationwide Permit 39 Verification dated Janl_ay 221 2009 (Action ID 200803361) for
construction of a proposed Lowe's home improvement store in Holly Springs, North Carolina.
Lowe's has decided not to build the store, and Lowe's will not conduct additional activities on
the site. Therefore. Lowe's will not impact wetlands or other Waters of the US on this site.
