I've reviewed your application requesting a 401 Water Quality Certification for the
replacement of Bridge No. 19 over Mill Creek on US 17 Business in Perquimans County
(TIP B-5604; DWR project # 20180118). Water Quality General Certification Nos. 4132
and 4133 correspond to the Corps NW permits 3 and 12 and are issued for this
activity. Written approval is not required provided all the thresholds listed in the
Certifications are not exceeded and all the conditions can be met. An in-water work
moratorium is in effect for this project from February 15 -June 30 of any year. Let me
