I. General Information

Description of System
Class II Gravity Collection System consisting of 80 miles of gravity
collection lines,1 Primary Lift Station and 10 secondary Lift Stations
monitored by a computerized SCADA System and inspected by City
Staff weekly.
II.Performance
Summary of System Performance for the CalendarYear 2017.
The Collection System Transmitted an average of 1.17 million gal-
lons of wastewater daily to the Wastewater Reclamation Facility
The Collection System was Compliant for the Calendar Year 2017
with one exception.
On August 30th,the sanitary sewer overflowed along Mollies
Branch Interceptor of West Lewis St by an estimated 10,000+/-
gallons The corrective actions mcluded pumping/hauling
by our combination truck and applying Lime to disinfect the
flooded area and a public notice was provided.The overflow
was caused by several factors,the occurrence of an extended
period of Severe Weather(Rain)causing hazardous conditions
and the existence vandalism,which caused constricted access.
