All instream monitoring shall be conducted weekly during the months of June, July, August and September and twice per month during the rest of the year. Z. The monthly average effluent BODS -and Total Suspended Solids concentrations shall not exceed 15% of the respective influent value (85% removal). 3. The quarterly average for Total Phosphorus shall be the average of composite samples collected 2/month during each calendar quarter (January -March, April -June, July -September, October -December). 4. For a given wastewater sample, TN = TKN + NO2-N + NO3-N, where TN is Total Nitrogen,. TKN is Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen, and NOZ-N and NO3-N are Nitrite and Nitrate Nitrogen, respectively. 5. A statewide Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) for Mercury has been approved by .the US EPA. Municipal wastewater discharges with NPDES permits must monitor or limit Mercury to comply with the TMDL.
