DWQ Project # 09-0266
Pitt County
On March 16, 2009, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your application dated March 2,
2009, for the above reference project. The DWQ has determined that your application was incomplete
and/or provided inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ will require additional
information in order to process your application to impact protected wetlands and/or streams on the
subject property. Therefore, unless we receive five copies of the additional information requested below,
we will place this project on hold as incomplete until we receive this additional information. If we do not
receive the requested information, your project will be formally returned as incomplete. Please provide
the following information so that we may continue to review your project.
Additional Information Requested:
® Incorrect and/or missing wetland, intermittent-perennial stream and/or buffer impacts.
In reviewing stream total impacts on page 7 of 13 the impacts were recorded in acres instead of
linear feet. Despite the clarifying comments about why the impacts were recorded in acres, DWQ
is unable to move forward with the review and approval process without stream and tributary
impacts being reported in linear feet. Please supply one (1) corrected original and four (4)
corrected copies of page 7.
Please note: should the total linear footage be 150 if or more, the permitting fee would be $570.
Consequently, you would need to submit an additional $330.
This letter only addresses the application review and does not authorize any impacts to wetlands, waters or
protected buffers. Please be aware that any impacts requested within your application are not authorized (at
this time) by the DWQ. Please call Ian McMillan at 919-733-1786 or me if you have any questions
regarding or would like to set up a meeting to discuss this matter.
