Inspection Summary:
The Industrial Timber, located at 330 White Plains Road, Hiddenite in the Alexander County have proposed an industrial
Timber facility at 330 White Plains Road, Hiddenite 28636 in Alexander County North Carolina. This existing facility is being
used to cuts and routes hardwood and plywood for furniture using a water based chemical, they have some storage area that
are cover and some that are not fully covered. The facility is also using a silo for dust control, the storage used for
maintenance is less than 55 gallons/month. Since there are some potential runoff from the site to the nearby stream I
recommend that a holding basin at each low point of the facility to treat the runoff before leaving the property. Based on the
site inspection I recommend the facility to be cover under the NCG210000.
