The City strives to always be in compliance with our permit limits and as a result of actions by our wastewater plant staff we were able to regain compliance. Therefore, we respectfully seek a request for remission based on the fact that the City promptly took action to abate the compliance issues by adding chemicals (caustic, Nitrifies, Ammonia Assimilator and Vita Stim) at a cost of approximately $2,800. Due to this action, it is our belief that little to no environmental damage occurred and this should be considered. 1 have reviewed this violation with the HWRF Director and we feel the correct action was taken to address the non-compliance issue. You will find enclosed the Justification for Remission Request form. We appreciate your consideration of this matter.
