This inspection was conducted to split samples with the facility for the chronic Ceriodaphnia dubia toxicity tests, as well as Total Suspended Solids and Fluoride effluent limitations and monitoring requirements in NPDES WW Permit No. NC0000400. All samples were found compliant. Please respond in writing to this office within 30 days of the date of this letter regarding the following action item: Required Action Item: A file review of this facility revealed the wastewater treatment flow schematics submitted in the permit renewal are incorrect. An accurate wastewater treatment flow schematic shall be updated and submitted. The findings and comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report entitled "Compliance Inspection Report". This facility wastewater treatment units include basins. A rain event occurred prior to the February 8th sampling event. The reported flow for February 6th was 0.158 MGD and for February 8th was 0.333 MGD. Hence, stormwater flows effect these treatment units. The DWR samples Passed the chronic Ceriodaphnia dubia toxicity tests. The effluent parameter results were: 2/6/2018 TSS — 53 mg/I, 69 lbs./day Fluoride — 46 mg/I, 60.6 lbs./day 2/8/2018 TSS — 42.5 mg/I, 118 lbs./day Fluoride — 35 mg/I, 97 lbs./day Required Action: The wastewater treatment flow schematics submitted in the permit renewal are incorrect. These shall be updated and submitted to DWR.
