Hi Sean,
We just need something that shows how nitrogen control is provided before discharging through the buffer.
New stormwater outfalls are prohibited if they do not provide for N control.
If the stormwater plans address this that should work.
Thanks,

Rick,
The attached are PDF copies of the receipts for nutrient transfer credits for the nitrogen buy down. Is this all you are
looking for or are you wanting to review the stormwater plans and calculations that Durham is reviewing?

Hi Sean,
I understand. I confirmed with Stephanie. The table of uses in the buffer rules states without a plan to
control N the activity (new stormwater outfall) is prohibited. It is however allowed if it provides for N
control.
So in order to approve that impact we will need the additional information on N removal for that device.

Rick,
I didn't include a lot if information about the stormwater plan because Durham is reviewing that. In the
past when there has been a delegated authority responsible for the stormwater approval, the
401/buffer approval is issued with a condition that a copy of the approved stormwater plan (and proof
of approval) has to be submitted to the NCDWR prior to work in the regulated areas beginning. Let me
know if that has changed though and I can get a copy of the draft plans from the engineer.
The discharge for the second stormwater BMP is into the floodplain of Lick Creek but east of the
wetland.
Thanks

Hi Sean,
Working on your PCN here and need to request some additional information regarding the stormwater
outfalls. For impact A I cannot see where you have indicated how the -stormwatermanagement facility
will control nitrogen. Nitrogen control is required according to the table of uses.
Where.does your second stormwater outfall discharge?
Thanks,
