On February 24, 2009, staff of this office conducted a 401 Certification compliance inspection at the
subject site to determine if the project was constructed as submitted to the Division of Water Quality (DWQ).
Based on our inspection, the construction appeared to be compliant. However there were some areas of
concern:
¦ Impact #2, there is sloughing of the bank on the upstream end of the culvert, which as allowed
sediment to enter the stream.
The ponds constructed for the storm water management plan required maintenance. Sediment
that has entered the pond needs to be removed prior to occupying any future facility that is to be
constructed.
