They were originally approved in 1987 (project number 2232-179) as Hideaway Yacht Club for sixty two boat slips, and they added three slips in 1993. As part of Duke's residential marina lease renewal effort, they are now required to get approval for the sixty five boat slips they currently have. One slip is chained off for fishing only. This facility is sitting on 2.5 acres of water rights. Each individual slip is approved to moor one watercraft. Regulatory authorities define a watercraft as either a motorboat, pontoon, sailing vessel, or a jet ski. With this approval they will have a total of 64 mooring facilities and 1 fishing spot. Please find enclosed a survey showing the entire shoreline. There will be no construction or stabilization associated with this application.
