This dredging project will be completed by the NCDOT— Ferry Division - Marine Maintenance crew and the pipeline Dredge Manteo. Dredged material will be pumped into the Fort Fisher spoil site which has not been pumped into in a couple of years and does have the available capacity to accept the material. The most recent survey (attached to this email) of this area was done in February 2018, showing that we need to dredge an estimated volume of 168,749 cubic yards from the channel and basin. The dredged material will be placed in the spoil sites for each location. Work is expected to begin in March. Per condition of the CAMA Major Permit #561 we are informing you of the below information: A) Original dredge and fill permit— CAMA Major Permit #561 B) No dimensional changes are proposed C) Please see attached plans and surveys D) Please see attached plans and surveys U SAC E: I have attached a PCN to this email for your review.
