Stormwater work behind school changed the path of the flow to the adjacent tributary. R3-pres proposed 10:1, ok, goes into headcut proposed for Rest, ok MSR1-R approach ok, channel incised, upper half, active mass wasting, good Bedform material Did see a channel from upper SW pond, should be RSC, channel probably jurisdictional, however RSC justified. A few cores showed hydric soils and potential for wetland rehab. in the wetland areas marked on the map. R5- a few areas of headcuts/incision, would warrant some work MSR2-not as incised, some areas of bank erosion, moving or raising channel bed would help hydrology of wetlands. Was really undecided on this reach until the end of the walk. Decided that the added benefit of the wetland rehydration would justify the work. Also, would be ok if they considered slope from top to bottom of project, may have to adjust culvert (Travis's comment). R6 -intermittent half way up, if R could lose hydrology, question about whether they take the pond out. I would be in favor of taking pond out and restoring "valley", however, I do not think they are going to pursue this since the ephemeral call was halfway up the tributary.
