Note vegetative growth in riprap inlet in foreground, around perimeter, as well as in channels entering from left and rear. Note that the forebay berm (near channel entering from left) is inundated due to inlet drawdown pipes plugged with organic debris from beavers and others. DSG Pond in February 2018 showing earthen forebay berm with weir; riprap channel footprint cleared of vegetation. Water surface approximately one foot above permanent pool elevation after recent rains. No visible sedimentation in forebay. Plan to reinforce forebay weir section with riprap to minimize the potential for erosion. Beaver leveler is barely visible while slightly submerged and located on outside center of riprap berm.
