Our Waste Treatment Plant begins with a 7500 gallon septic tank. From this tank it flows
into 3 separate holding tanks. Two of these tanks have filters. It is then pumped from the
third tank down to a 4,460 square foot sand filter bed. After flowing through the filter
bed, the water flows into a 10,000 gallon holding tank. From this tank 60% of the waste
water is then pumped back into the first of the three holding tanks, to flow through
again. The remaining 40% goes through the UV lights for disinfection and is discharged
out.
