The United States Environmental Protection Agency Region 4 has received the City of Charlotte's (the
City) response to the EPA's November 2, 2016 information request letter, issued pursuant to Section
308 of the Clean Water Act (CWA). This letter is to inform you that the case file in the above -referenced
matter has been closed
This notification is not a pen -nit under the CWA, and does not relieve you from the responsibility to
comply with applicable requirements of the CWA or of any other requirement to obtain or comply with
city, county, or state permits or authorizations before proceeding with any CWA-regulated activities If
