Gilchrist, Lisa B Subject: RE: Design update on removal of existing pipe structures and replacement with bridge structure on SR 1637 (Redwood Road) over the Panther Creek finger of Falls Lake in Durham (WBS: 15005.1032011) Chris, From the update, given that there are no new impacts, NCDOT will not need a modification from us. All general certification conditions apply. We of course have major emphasis on regular NPDES monitoring and BMP inspections, given the sensitive Water Supply watershed, after every rain event---in addition to timely ground cover to the maximum extent possible. Please keep us informed of construction progress regularly. We can schedule routine reviews once construction commences.
