SR 1637 (Redwood Road) over the Panther Creek
finger of Falls Lake in Durham (WBS: 15005.1032011)
Chris,
From the update, given that there are no new impacts, NCDOT will not need a
modification from us.
All general certification conditions apply.
We of course have major emphasis on regular NPDES monitoring and BMP inspections,
given the sensitive Water Supply watershed, after every rain event---in addition to
timely ground cover to the maximum extent possible.
Please keep us informed of construction progress regularly. We can schedule routine
reviews once construction commences.
Thank you,

Eric and Rob,
The contractor completed removal of the damaged pipe structures at this location in
October 2017. The second and final phase of construction at the site is installation of
the single span (1 @ 107 ft) bridge structure. We do not anticipate any additional
jurisdictional impacts during this phase of the project and the contractor will be
adhering to the previously issued permits for the project. The current let date is May
23, 2018.
I have attached the following information:
-Roadway Plan
-Erosion Control Plan
-Structure Plan
-Stormwater Management plan
Please advise if you need additional information.
Thanks,
Chris Murray
