On March 3, 2009, the Express Review Program of the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your
Stormwater Management Plan Application for the above referenced project. The DWQ has determined
that your application will require additional information. Please contact us to schedule a meeting by
Friday, March 6, 2009, so that we may continue to review your project and prevent return of your
application as required by 15A NCAC 2H .0506:
Additional Information Requested
We are formally requesting an office meeting with you and your consultants to discuss in greater detail
the following issues regarding your project.
Constructed Wetland:
a. Overall Surface Area Sizing and individual zones
b. Water Quality Volume required to be treated
c. Cross-sectional view
d. Planting plan issues (source, species types/marsh types)
e. Drawdown Calculations
f. Anti-floatation Calculations - missing
g. Retaining Wall Extension
Please note that you will be required to submit two (2) copies of the revised plans and documents within
five (5) days of the date of the meeting. The Express Review Program is a process that requires all parties
to participate in a timely manner.
This letter only addresses the application review and does not authorize any impacts to wetlands, waters or
protected buffers. Please be aware that any impacts requested within your application are not authorized (at
this time) by the DWQ.
