In reference to your shoreline stabilization application dated 1-23-18, please provide the following information.
Do you plan to re-slope/grade the shoreline before applying riprap? If so, what slope are you
proposing? Yes. The slope I am proposing... 1:1
What is the width of the temporary construction access road you are proposing to build to access the shoreline?
The square footage of this area through the 50' Catawba Buffer will be considered a temporary impact. Please
provide dimensions in feet (ex. 00 feet wide x 00 feet long). 12' x 58'. 696 - square footage
How many trees (larger than 5 inches) are you proposing be removed for shoreline stabilization project? Only
1 tree will be larger than 5".
I have attached the Catawba Buffer Rules and a fact sheet for your use. Please let me know if I can answer any questions
you may have about the buffer.
