The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is preparing the planning and environmental studies for NCDOTTIP
Project R-5831 in Yadkin County.
The purpose of the attached start of study letter is to solicit your input concerning any beneficial or adverse impacts of the
proposed project relating to the interest of your agency near the project site. Project vicinity and study area maps are also
attached.
Please respond by March 9, 2018 to allow us to fully evaluate the impacts of the proposed project.
