Subject: SIU Plant Closing
Dear Vivien,
RECEIVED/®ESE :JR
FEB 01 2L
Water Resom,
Permitting Sect
The City of Lincolnton has been contacted by one of its Significant Industrial Users informing us that
their facility has closed. The facility that has closed is South Fork Industries Inc. permit # 0004. The City
of Lincolnton and South Fork Industries Inc. request that the SIU permit issued to South Fork Industries
Inc. be revoked due to the plant closing.
South Fork Industries Inc. ceased production and wastewater discharge to the City of Lincolnton on or
about December 22, 2017. The City received written notification of their cease in operations and their
plans to close this facility, December 26, 2017. There are not any future plans by South Fork Industries
Inc. to re -start production at this facility, however they are currently trying to sale this building as a dye
house.
Burkey and I made a final walk through of South Fork Industries Inc. noting, that the inside of the
building was pretty much gutted out, with the exception of a few machines that were not connected. All
previous areas used to generate process water have been cleaned and now are empty.
Enclosed with this letter is a copy of the letter from South Fork Industries Inc. stating the closing of their
facility, an updated Allocation Table reflecting South Fork Industries Inc. dropped from the City of
Lincolnton Pretreatment Program, and a copy of their final inspection.

I am writing this letter to inform the City of Lincointon and the City
Wastewater Treatment Facility that South Fork Industries Inc. has ceased Dyeing
and Finishing operations at the 535 Elm Grove Road, Lincointon facility. We
regret that we have had to move our location but physical land restraints at this
location did not permit us to grow as needed.`I have tried to keep you informed
of our decreasing production levels as they oecurriid.-
South Fork Industries Inc. has appreciated all the cooperation and help
provided to us over our 30 years of working together. We could not have
continued to grow and prosper without your cooperation during our tenure at
this location. We will aggressively try to find a buyer of our facility as a Dye and
Finish operation of the next few months. We will inform you of any prospects as
they occur. Again thank you to everyone that we has helped us over our 30
years and we wish you continued Success also.
I apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused. If any further
information is needed please contact me at everette@southforkind.com or 828-
428-9920 ext. 103.
