On October 20, 2017, the Division of Water Resources (Division) received your application dated
October 17, 2017, requesting a Buffer Authorization from the Division for the subject project. We wrote
to you on November 30, 2017 and January 22, 2018 requesting additional information on the project.
As of today, the Division has not received a complete response to these requests.
Pursuant to Title 15A NCAC 02B .0233 (8)(b)), the Division has not received all of the requested
information necessary to make a decision and is unable to approve or deny your application. For the
reasons listed above, your application is hereby returned. Once you have addressed the problems
and/or inadequacies with your application as it was submitted, you will need to reapply to the Division
for approval including a complete application package.
Please be aware that you have no authorization under Title 15A NCAC 02B .0233 for this activity and any
work done within the protected riparian buffer may be a violation of North Carolina Administrative
Code.
