As we discussed in the preconstruction meeting, Albemarle EMC hand cleared
approximately 1,250 sq. ft. (0.287 acres) of wetlands during their temp. powerline
relocation. This resulted in the cutting of 10 mature hardwoods. At my onsite meeting
with them on 8/7/2017, the utility rep. indicated they would not need to clear any of
the timber. Their plan at that time was to conduct heavy limbing to provide the
necessary clearance of their lines. Apparently their crew doing the work thought
otherwise. After the project, AEMC will relocate the powerline to the original
alignment, and the temp. hand cleared area should not be maintained by AEMC.
A permit drawing is attached with the impact area depicted. Please let me know if you
